I found a previous project, a direct conversion phasing (single-signal) receiver and decided to try and resurrect it. Perhaps even finish the planned 30m CW transceiver.

This video is just a short test while I found various problems due to the boards being dumped in a junk box for a couple of years.

The local oscillator is an arduino controlled Si5351 producing I & Q VFO drive.

The first promotional video made to market Weblink Backpacks- a custom PCB I designed around the xiao form factor ESP32 that seems to be becoming the most handy way to blink neon tubes. I just ordered a fresh batch of PCBs and have parts to make a handful. I am hoping to gauge interest in the project before ordering more parts and creating a batch to send to Percy so they can be made available for purchase. 📍A stele (“erected stone”) is like an ancient Egyptian billboard. The pharaohs used them to record important events, announce their achievements, and communicate with the public.

📍The “Stele of Dreams” depicts two sphinxes, and although the official explanation is that this is a common convention in Egyptian art—used to emphasize the importance of a divine entity through duplication—others have argued that it is a literal representation and that a second sphinx exists, or once existed, somewhere on the Giza Plateau.

📍Researchers Filippo Biondi and Corrado Malanga made a high-profile announcement of their discovery of enormous underground structures beneath the Giza Plateau in Egypt, at a depth of more than 700 m. This research was conducted primarily using Doppler tomography via SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar).

📍The researchers used AI to analyze the images. The AI assigned high probabilities—ranging from 78% to 96.5%—that the structures were, in fact, a sphinx-like monument rather than a natural formation.
