  • Kayaking around the lake

    Our small lake discharges into a very shallow and narrow stream. Our old rowboat simply can't get there. But the new kayak has a very low draft and it can enter the stream - although I do have to retract the prop and the rudder, and use regular kayak paddles. People rarely go there, so it's a bit wild.

    Then I went check out the fish ladder at the other end of the lake, but it's been fenced off for some reason. Too many people fished there maybe.

      13. Webinaire du 26/06/2026 - Le bénévolat en tiers-lieux : mobiliser, reconnaître, valoriser

        Un temps pour explorer ensemble comment mobiliser, reconnaître et valoriser les bénévoles, alors que leur engagement est au cœur du fonctionnement de nombreux tiers-lieux et qu'il constitue une ressource souvent essentielle, mais encore peu visible.

        L'objectif était de mieux comprendre :

        • les enjeux liés à la mobilisation et à la fidélisation des bénévoles,
        • les différentes façons de reconnaître et valoriser les contributions,
        • les outils numériques existants pour faciliter le suivi et la reconnaissance de l'engagement,

          • À travers des éclairages et des retours d'expériences, le webinaire a permis de partager des pratiques concrètes et des ressources mobilisables, afin que chaque tiers-lieu puisse s'en inspirer selon son organisation et ses besoins.

          Au programme :

          • des repères sur les enjeux de l'engagement bénévole et les leviers de mobilisation,
          • la présentation de solutions numériques pour reconnaître et valoriser les contributions bénévoles,
          • des retours d'expériences d'acteurs de terrain,
            • et des échanges entre pairs autour des pratiques et des questions rencontrées.

          • I’m ejecting an intruder cat from my house

            A new cat has been intruding and poaching territory from MY cat!

            Previous to this video I heard him yell (announced his coming).
            In this video I’m walking from the living room to the kitchen where my cat has her food bowl.
            Early on I’m crossing the walkway between the living room and the kitchen, and my cat walks up to me fun the garden and I pet her forehead.
            Right after that I walk into the kitchen and I see the other (intruder) cat trying to hide in the crap I have against the wall there.
            I walk back and close both exits from the kitchen, then I come up to this cat while he’s trying to jump through the (closed) window.
            I get ahold of him, walk back outside and summarily throw him over the garden table.

            My cat has been walking next to me the entire time and she stays for a few pets but she isn’t pleased.

            Sono diversi giorni che volevo registrare una esecuzione di questo bellissimo saltarello e finalmente ho trovato un momento per farlo. Il brano in questione è stato scritto da Simone Molinaro che è considerato uno dei principali compositori per liuto di fine Cinquecento.

            Lo strumento utilizzato è un liutochitarra costruito dal maestro Angelo Pedrini.

            Spero l'ascolto di questa esecuzione vi sia gradito.
