Cold winter wind for relaxing or quiet background — steady air moving across the open ice of a frozen forest lake, wide and even, close to natural white noise.
The lake is fully frozen, so the wind travels across the surface without anything to break it. Distant woodland sits at the edges; the sound stays minimal — wind, cold air, the low tone of an open winter landscape. Captured on location, far from roads. No music, no added layers.
Real place, captured as it sounded — no library samples, no AI.

If a far-off storm helps you drift off, this is for you. Distant thunder rolls over the Tatra mountains on a summer afternoon — low and steady, no harsh cracks, no rain on the mic. Good distant thunder for sleeping, or calm background. One real recording, no music.

Twelve hours of crickets, birds, and meadow ambience with a black screen. Recorded across kilometers of open grassland in late summer, this is a steady, room-filling mix for sleep or focus.
Captured over four days living out of a campervan in endless meadows. Gear: Zoom F3, Rode NT1, and Rode MKE600 — the shotgun mic pointed toward the meadow while the NT1 picked up the wide backdrop. Late afternoon, stereo, nothing added.
The black screen keeps your room dark. Works overnight, with the screen off, or behind a sleep timer. Consistent enough to stay out of your way for the full twelve hours.
No music, no loops, no edits to force a repeat. One real field recording from start to finish.

Steady, unbroken current that runs all night. Ten hours of raw water recorded straight through, no loops, no edits. A natural white noise maker for sleep that doesn't fade or shift. Works like a white noise machine for sleep except it's real water pushing through real rock. If you need a white noise generator for sleep that isn't synthetic, this is the one.
It was another unplanned trip like always. We got to the site at dusk and the fire was already going. Camp set up, fire burning, and we're right next to this river with its sound the whole time. Shotgun mic pointed directly at the water for 10 hours straight. The river can rise over 1.5 meters in an hour after rain, so we had to account for that sleeping in a tent nearby. No drama overnight. Water stayed where it was. My son was with me on this one. He sleeps like never before. Wondering what his dreams are like.
Best with headphones.

Easy listening for the evening — soft waves lapping the Havel shoreline as the sun goes down near Berlin, with birdsong carrying from the riverside forest behind them.
Low splashes form an uneven, natural rhythm where the water meets the bank; the evening birds shift as the light fades, a woodpecker tapping now and then from the trees along the shore. It was a beautiful sunset — we stayed, lit a fire by the water, and slept on the bank. No music, no voices, just the river at dusk.
A real on-location recording — no loops, no AI.

This chip is part of wafer.space Run 1 (https://github.com/wafer-space/ws-run1), which was taped out at the end of last year.
It is built using the FABulous (e)FPGA framework and the wafer.space LibreLane template. You can find the repository will all source files here: https://github.com/mole99/gf180mcu-fabulous-fpga
With around 500 LUTs, it's on the smaller end of FPGAs. However you can still do a lot with it considering that it has 48 I/Os, SRAM, DSPs, and register files. The video shows the FPGA starting up and pulsing the two onboard RGB LEDs.
Bonjour,
