Petite archive de Benjamin Duhamel interviewant Mélenchon après sa première candidature présidentielle en 2012. Il y présente son rapport au pouvoir, aux médias, et aux petits bourgeois hédonistes.

  • Demo of CCIR493 HF Selcall

This is a very much rough demonstration of CCIR493 selcall.

I used a pair of Jenal SC2 microphones, one per radio.
The radios are a Xeigu G90 and Icom IC-7200.
Both radios are connected to dummy loads, and are running 1W.
There's just a tiny amount of leakage to allow the radios to hear each other, but nothing radiates beyond the confines of the shack.

Jenal is no longer in operation, but their old website is still up for documents etc. Jenal

I have some info on my Wiki (GM4SLV Selcall stuff)[https://g4slv.info/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=public:radio:topics:ccir493_selcall]
The HFLink group have info at (HF Link Selcall)[http://hflink.com/selcall/]

If you have any Codan, Barrett or similar gear with HF Selcall I'd be happy to do some experiments.

Drop me a line at the email address (shown on my QRZ.com page) for G4SLV

  • Episode #21 | Four Pipes from Poland, Three Mr. Brogs & a Surprising B&B

In this episode of Pipe Rundown, I take a closer look at a selection of estate pipes from the Poland batch. The lineup includes several Mr. Brog pipes in different shapes and finishes, along with a B&B 022 that offers an interesting contrast to the pearwood pipes surrounding it.

As always, I examine the condition of each pipe, discuss the features that stand out, and assign an ID for the collection catalogue. The group includes both well-preserved examples and a few pipes that may need some attention before returning to regular use.

    Timestamps:

    03:23 Mr. Brog 35 (21-854-2P)

  • Episode #19 | A Savinelli Bing's Favorite, a Portland Mystery & a Pipe Marked π

In this episode of Pipe Rundown, I take a look at five estate pipes from a mix of well-known and lesser-known makers. The lineup includes two Savinelli pipes, an English-made Orlik, a Portland Breuer Guarantee, and a mysterious black pipe marked only with a pi symbol on the stem.

As always, I assess the condition of each pipe, discuss what stands out about the design and construction, and assign each pipe an ID for the collection catalogue. Some are ready for a simple clean-up, while others may become future restoration projects.

    Timestamps:

    00:32 Portland Breuer Guarantee 57 (19-674-1)

    02:56 Savinelli 207 (19-767-2)
