    Me and my friends practice lowering the mast, getting ready for launch, we are not really good at this yet, but nobody got killed.

    I am in the camo top in front, and was not getting pinched or in danger, just trying to keep the mast mount from being damaged or snapped off by the force of the flopped boom !

    I converted a trailer originally designed for a 27ft SeaRay Sundancer powerboat into a trailer for a 25ft O'Day sailboat, and as I'm about to unload and disassemble the stanchions, convert it back into a flatbed for my mini-excavator, I wanted to document it so I could do this again.

    Each month I'll be sharing the sheet music and close-up/slow videos for a new tune. To start the project off, the first tune will be "Return from Fingal", a traditional Irish march.

    I'm writing some new compositions for viola as part of this project, and I'm also releasing viola versions of some traditional tunes that aren't in my existing books of sheet music.

    I'll provide the basic melodies, and also suggestions for bowings and ornaments so you can incorporate these elements into your playing as you learn each tune.

    I'm making studio recordings with chordal backing, which you can listen to or play along with. (There's an option to sign up to just receive audio recordings if you're not interested in sheet music, e.g. if you're not a viola player but you still want to support my music making.)
