  • SUPER Rare C64 Silver Label - Did You Help Fix This?

Special thanks to PCBWay for sponsoring this video.

    https://www.pcbway.com/

In this video, I return to a very early "Silver Label" Commodore 64 with a serial number in the 800s to finish a repair I previously failed at. With help from the community and some new diagnostic tools, I track down a persistent bit 2 error to a faulty U22 RAM chip. Watch as I demonstrate a clean desoldering technique, test the chip with a shiny new dedicated DRAM tester, and address further diagnostic errors related to the control ports on this rare 1982 motherboard.

      • Way Down West (1927) - AKA Romance of the Western Chamber, Xi Xiang Ji - Early Kung Fu film

In a remote mountain monastery, a brilliant young scholar seeking quiet study meets the most beautiful woman in the realm, Cui Yingying, the Rose of Pu Chui. But their forbidden romance is shattered when a ruthless bandit chieftain storms the temple gates with his savage horde, demanding the Rose as his bride. Trapped behind the walls, the scholar must summon every ounce of courage and cunning to outwit the invaders, or lose the woman he loves forever.

A breathtaking silent-era epic from the dawn of Chinese cinema, The Bandit and the Rose (originally Romance of the Western Chamber, Way Down West, or Xi Xiang Ji) blends whirlwind romance, high-stakes adventure, and groundbreaking martial-arts spectacle. Shot with stunning hand-tinted nitrate beauty, elaborate costumes, and pioneering action sequences that helped birth the wuxia genre, this is one of the earliest surviving feature films from Shanghai’s golden age.

This edition features a new translation and score from New Ellijay Television and Doctor Deathray.

      • dhormon - MGSRC ep

dHormon was Branimir Bodor. To the people from Ruma, Serbia he is mostly known for playing in bands such are Basema Kili and Psychosis.

But dHormon was a trip to psychedelic, jazzy, latin beat electronic with a signature guitar playing of his. And he was a virtuoso. Except this miniature ep all i have left from Bane are some ideas, samples, parts of some songs i don't have or he never have finished them. I have never indulged to sample parts of his work, wether synth plays, guitar modulation or other. It is important to mention that there was one plus track he did with this alias called : "Dominique lullaby" and by some magic i seem to have lost this file. It's mixed respectevely here: https://www.mixcloud.com/rageblanche01/mix-21122017/
about the end of the 31st minute, right after Chris and Cosey you can hear a piece of magic he did.

As I can remember the tittle of the album goes to the initials of the names of his closest friends at some point, musicians most probably.

He was a pioneer of a kind, exploring graphic equalizers, vst instruments, guitar synthisizers but mentioning all this isn't anything special at this point in time - he did it on pentium 2 machine back in the days of cca end of 90's beggining of 2000's and further.

        Tracklist:

        1. Ambienttalica Prss`hilistte
        2. Androgen d#Hormon
        3. From Me Through U
        4. Illumination
        5. M.G.S.R.C.
