Dans cet extrait datant de 2017, issu d’une conférence de la chaîne AltrimentiVideo, l’économiste Bruno Tinel démonte les discours dominants sur la dette publique et l’austérité. En s’appuyant sur des données macroéconomiques et une relecture des politiques néolibérales menées depuis les années 1980, il montre comment les hausses de taux d’intérêt, la baisse des impôts sur les hauts revenus, le ralentissement volontaire de la dépense publique et l’explosion des inégalités ont mécaniquement alimenté l’endettement des États.
Il revient également sur le rôle des marchés financiers, la mutation des systèmes bancaires et la trappe à liquidité actuelle. Ce discours offre une mise en perspective précieuse pour comprendre les crises économiques européennes, la montée des extrêmes et les enjeux de convergence au sein de la zone euro. Une intervention percutante pour penser une alternative économique crédible.

Hans and Sophie were part of the White Rose resistance group in Nazi-Germany during WWII. Born in our hometown Ulm, they went to Munich to attend University. That’s where they fought against the fascist regime. Eventually Hans and Sophie were detained and decapitated on February 22nd 1943.

Memorial for the millions of Jews, killed in the Holocaust. The memorial is right in front of Ulm’s Synagogue, which was destroyed by the Nazis and rebuild in 2012 to be one of Ulm’s most impressive buildings.
