Hans and Sophie Scholl Monument
Hans and Sophie were part of the White Rose resistance group in Nazi-Germany during WWII. Born in our hometown Ulm, they went to Munich to attend University. That’s where they fought against the fascist regime. Eventually Hans and Sophie were detained and decapitated on February 22nd 1943.

Memorial for the millions of Jews, killed in the Holocaust. The memorial is right in front of Ulm’s Synagogue, which was destroyed by the Nazis and rebuild in 2012 to be one of Ulm’s most impressive buildings.
