Merry Christmas Eve Batties! This week, we're getting jolly and frightful as we continue our spooky Christmas legends with the one and only Christmas Devil himself... KRAMPUS! We get into all his baddie ways and how he is celebrated now-a-days. It's a jolly good time here on Bats on the Brain! Nikki even shares the greatest Christmas present she picked up for her nephew and a couple scary, and not so scary, Christmas movies that need to be added to your Holiday movie collection!

It's officially holiday season and we are definitely getting into the spirit here at Bats on the Brain! Firstly, Nikki rambles about the movie Jack Frost, a true Christmas comedy/slasher film about a revenge obsessed killer snowman and will leave you feeling the spooky holiday magic. Then Nikki gives us, not one but TWO spooky Christmas legends, Grýla, the Christmas Witch/Giantess/Troll set out to gather and eat all the misbehaving kids for Christmas accompanied by her flesh loving Yule Cat and 13 mischievous Yule Lads. Finally, Nikki gets into the Christmas Cannibal, aka Le Père Fouettard, aka Father Whipper, aka the Anti-Saint Nick.

On top of all of this we have our very first ever Pod on the Brain featuring Aloreing, a folklore podcast hosted by Kimmy and Ryan where they talk about folklore and cryptids from around the world.

Hey Batties! Welcome to another haunting episode of Bats on the Brain! To prepare us all for the holiday traveling and hotel stays that we will be doing this holiday season, Nikki wanted to provide another option for a holiday getaway - or should I say a haunted getaway? Nikki tells us all about New York's haunted Sagamore Resort, which has been around for over 130 years, survived 2 fires, and still draws in a crowd. Oh, and did I mention that there are many ghosts that haunt this resort, including prankster ghost kids and a elevator loving ghost name Walter? Get ready to switch up your holiday travel plans because after this story, you'll want to get away to the the Sagamore Resort too!

Be warned, these stories are scary, but Nikki's attempt at being scary - not so much...
