Batting Practice Podcast

We are BACK with another episode of the Batting Practice podcast bringing you the best highlights from around the sporting world and what they mean for your Sorare gallery.

The Los Angeles Lakers have won the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament after they defeated a hungry, cash-strapped Pacers who played like their Christmas Bonus was on the line. For this first tournament it was unknown whether teams would take it seriously but judging by the fact that most playoff favorites won or made it out of their group, yeah the big boys were trying. What implications this has on the NBA Playoffs or eventual Championship run are unknown at this point.

Shohei Ohtani is headed to your Los Angeles Dodgers and yes it is always a good week to be an LA fan. The stars aligned and descended from the hills to welcome MLB's newest superstar who smashed every contract record to record a 700 million contract netting him 2 million every year. Yes I did pass 4th grade math and I double checked my work because that number is absolutely correct. Ohtani has created one of the most team and tax friendly contracts in existence by deferring most of his payout to the end of his contract. What a nice retirement gift to go with his future World Series rings.

We have the takes and thoughts on what this means for the world of sports and of course your Sorare gallery.

Thanks for listening and dont forget to share us with a friend.

Baaaannnggg, we are back with another fantastic episode of the Batting Practice Podcast. We had some huge updates this week within the NBA game and the boys are here to break it all down for you. The NBA In-Season Tournament kicked off last night and will end before our next podcast so let us know on X who you think will win. The Celtics are already out so perhaps more upsets are on the way.

MLB winter meetings are underway this week with the biggest development centered around who Shohei Ohtani is going to sign for. You heard it here first, it will NOT be the Milwaukee Brewers who made a splash of their own this week giving the biggest contract to a player who has never played in the MLB so far.

Finally, we wrap things up with a bit of fun and name the highest paid MLB players.

Welcome to episode 64 of Batting Practice! In this episode we tackle the Sorare NBA season so far. We dive into rewards, how are teams have been performing, game modes, and so much more. We also discuss the NBA In Season Tournament and how teams are approaching it, as well as how we are approaching it from a Sorare standpoint!

We are BACK with another episode of the Batting Practice Podcast with our 65th episode EVER. We kick off the episode with a buying bonanza taking advantage of Sorare's first ever Cyber Week deals with 50% off an Auctioned Card (up to $40). Unfortunately, if you are reading this, the deal has expired. Just know if you saw the auction prices for yesterday, no we are not in a bull market, Sorare holiday season has started early.

Sorare makes a lot of changes and it has become nearly impossible to stay in the loop unless one dedicates part of their Sorare hobby to following the game's news. Do not fret as the Sorare team has heard our calls for more information. The team is now sharing a weekly report for both the soccer and basketball games which covers all of the updates for the week. This makes it a lot easier for the average manager to find out all the latest news for the game we all love.

The MLB Offseason is kicking into high gear with free agency. Ohtani is on the market and probably will be signed to his new team by Christmas. Will his new jersey be your stocking stuffer? Jon Morosi, a Sorare Media Legend and MLB Correspondent, has made the bold call that Ohtani is headed to the Atlanta Braves. Dodgers fans, we think you will have the last laugh with the possible dual signings in Ohtani and NPB Star Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

The NBA never fails to keep things interesting with Pop hopping on the mic to yell at Spurs fans to STOP booing Kawhi Leonard. A Lakers fan almost tore his ACL while attempting a half-court shot and unfortunately Dru Smith actually injured himself for the season on Cleveland's uneven court.

Thank you for listening and do not forget to leave a review or share us with a friend.

We are BACK with another episode of the Batting Practice Podcast. Like our previous episode, we are adding a bit more structure to the show which makes writing recaps like these a breeze.

Kicking things off we look back on our MLB Season Predictions that we made on March 1st when Spring Training was getting started. Many of the picks went up in smoke but a fair amount actually proved true. Which of the BP Hosts was most correct? Watch and find out. Did your expectations for the MLB Season come true?

Sorare NBA is now hitting its stride so we have expanded our RTG series to NBA. The boys take on the draft and have a great discussion as to which MVP you should take when building out your own team. Let us know what you think of our pick.

The Sorare team is not sleeping. We have an exciting update on the NBA front with new rewards coming to Rare and the Launch of Collection XP for SO5 competitions.

Finally, we complete the episode with a sporcle quiz celebrating the sausages across the MLB. Match the dog to the ballpark and you are a winner.

Thanks for listening :)

We are back with a new structure to our weekly Sorare and all things sports podcast with a blend of news across the sports and sorare multiverses. Do you think there is a world out there where Mbappe plays a Sorare card of mine? Probably not but we can all dream.

All jokes aside, we have noticed that the top podcasts out there have a structure to them and we want to deliver a cultivated experience to each one of our listeners. Thus, we have made the decision at the Batting Practice Podcast to implement this. Does that mean our episodes will become dry and rigid? Of course NOT. We simply want to have regular segments dedicated to Sorare Gameplay and News, Sports, and of course fun.

We had our best Sporcle result yet and cannot wait to continue to refine and elevate our listener experience. We do listen, tweet us today @Batpracticepod

Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for another spectacular episode of the Batting Practice Podcast a show where we breakdown all the things happening in the world of Sorare with a focus on Sorare MLB and Sorare NBA.

Today's episode is focused on the new Sorare NBA In-Season Tournament that mirrors the one happening in the NBA. It is always special when fantasy sports match reality to give the game a bit more meaning. We break down exactly how the competition works so you can get your gallery ready ahead of time. If you intend to play at the Expert Level, open up your kids' college funds and bid on some Super Rare cards now so you can be one of the lucky contestants to play. Any criticism we offer is meant to be fair and we stress how cool this bonus contest is with Sorare giving out hundreds of THOUSANDS in prizes.

Thank you as always for listening and do not forget to follow us on X.

Winning Rewards is fun right? We will never complain about cards we win since that is a real whale problem but we do point out some wackiness related to Andrew's rewards this week across Tiers 2 and 3 for Sorare MLB.

This is also not a glitch. Today is actually Tuesday and we have a brand new podcast for you to minimize the time between recording and when you get to listen. Let us know if this makes the experience better as we want to make sure our content is as relevant as possible.

We are also excited with this episode to share we are shifting more towards a Sorare Sports Hybrid podcast where we bring you updates focused on US Sports with the occasional sprinkling of soccer. With that, we are jumping right into Season 2 of Sorare NBA, breaking down the preseason announcements and reacting to all of the new changes. Let us know what you think of all of the changes and especially the new card designs.

Thank you all for listening and dont' forget to tell a friend to listen as well.
