The Battle of the Little Big Horn also known as Custer's Last Stand and the Battle of the Greasy Grass was the greatest victory of the Lakota Sioux over the American army. It was also a victory that spelled the end of their freedom. Before we get there though we start with some of the earliest encounters between the Americans and the Lakota Sioux and the life of one of their great leaders Sitting Bull.
