Parents should quit thinking to be perfect! There is NO perfect parent out there. And to think we are not allowed to feel, or get angry is false. Especially stay-at-home parents; we do it all! We discipline different because every kid is different. Sometimes positive reinforcement helps, but sometimes a firm voice and timeout works, too! Voices might get raised and yelling occurs but that doesn't mean we are "bad" or "horrible" parents; we're human.

But they shouldn't matter. Grow and climb as much as you want, do what you love, and thrive! If you let Nit Pickers control every little aspect and you end up changing EVERYTHING for them; you'll end up hating what you do. Wash your hands of it!

People get busy, especially when children leave the home, become independent, have a partner they marry, and have kids with. Family grows, you get busier, more activities, household demands are arising, etc... It sucks we can't always spend time with the ones we love, but that gives them NO right to assume you don't want them around. Take control, set boundaries, react with compassion and stand firm. Things happen and anger strikes, but it will pass and you be the bigger person!

We love our position of SAHMs but when we are taking on more with little break in-between, it can become a mental struggle. Especially, when your significant other is gone more than they should be. Get the support and make a solution-come to certain times/days to make sure you get time to do the things you need, or want to do. Yes, we like to take our littles grocery shopping but it would be nice to NOT have to carry a heavy carseat, or chase after a hyperactive toddler with a cart full of groceries, yelling, "IF YOU'RE GOOD I'LL BUY YOU CHOCOLATE!"

The strong, the bold, the beautiful, the fearless, the mighty leaders, and... The MILLION of things that all women are and meant to be!!! Keep it up, ladies! YES, WE CAN!!!
