Happy Frakkin Friday folks! The wait is over! Commander Adama is not dead... but hes not quite back yet either. Lets see how well Colonel Tigh steers the ship and how Chester handles seeing Scatterbrained for the first time! we're back for season 2 and all I can say is Buckle Up
for my local listeners, next weekend May 31, 2025 I'll have a booth with all my woodworking and artsy wares at the Old Agoura Flea Market (in the high school parking lot) so swing by, meet us, and support small business.
also, correction, I ended up on the Nemesis episode of Greenshirt, which was still a lot of fun, but instead of singing my praises for Insurrection, I tore Nemesis apart.
"Life here began out there!" This line of dialogue transcends the generations, as it is quoted by two men who portrayed Commander Adama, Edward James Olmos and Lorne Greene.
Today, we put a spin on that quote, for our podcast here began back then. While we let Commander Adama recover from Kobol's Last Gleaming, join us on a look back at Battlestar Galactica 1978, with a special twist. Unlike most episodes that Steve has scene a dozen times, this one is just as new since he hasn't seen it since he was a kid!
If you tried listening on Friday, there was a sound issue... that I have now fixed! please carry on with your listening pleasure
You know what's better than one episode of Battlestar Galactica? TWO EPISODES OF BATTLESTAR GALACTICA... and subsequently, only one episode of Battlestage Theatrica.
Happy Frakkin Friday you fine frakkin folks, this show about remembering the past 20 years takes a slightly more fresh turn as we remember last December and the splitting hangover's we had and all the family we had the next day. Therefore, you get a double feature episode (it'll be the last one, I promise).
Join me as I watch Chester watch Boomer SHOOT COMMANDER ADAMA IN THE CHEST and then cut to black! This is like the Walking Dead all over again... well, technically TWD was BSG all over again... you get the point.
To let this scene marinate, next week we'll have a special episode where we take Chester back in time to 1978 and watch the original Battlestar Galactica 1978! stay tuned

Welcome back to Battlestage Theatrica folks, and Happy Frakkin Friday! As if their weren't enough politics in your life, here's two guys talking about fake politics. No, this isn't Fox News, this is Battlestar Galactica '04's 11 episode, COLONIAL DAY!
You know the drill!
Happy Frakkin Friday, Fans of Battlestage Theatrica, we're back with some ACTION! Battlestar Galactica 04's "Hand of God" puts the fear of the gods into the toasters this week as the Galactica goes on the offensive. While they're doing that, Chester and I take to the stage, we see it, put it on our 3-9 line, fire countermeasures, turn hard into it... and pray!
Join us here for the laughs, speculate if Baltar has an angel on his shoulder or a monkey... no wait, the monkey on the shoulder is out of the bottle and down our throats!

Happy Frakkin Friday Friends! do we have a special treat for you! Trek Culture's very own Sean Ferrick stopped by the stage to chat about one of his favorite episodes, Flesh and Bone. Guess what, we talked about everything else too... to the point that I had to cut an hour and half into 45 minutes. No easy feat! The whole interview will be available, uncut, on our patreon. https://www.patreon.com/c/BattlestageTheatrica?redirect=true
I tried to edit out most of the spoilers, but if you're watching BSG for the first time like our very own Chester, after the preamble, skip ahead to the 1 hour mark. SPOILER WARNING!

Happy Frakkin Friday, Folks! Its time for another episode of Battlestage Theatrica... without the stage. Sorry, I kinda dropped the ball on writing the scripts. Copying the scripts, whatever. It won't happen again... unless Chester and I are too hungover.
This week on Battlesar Galactica, we're watching Six Degrees of Separation, guest starring Not Kevin Bacon, and we're sending out a PSA to check your partner's spine for glowing red lights. If it does, well, there's endless copies of your partner... naked ones. You get the picture. Enjoy

Happy Frakkin Friday, folks. Chester and I are back from our Athenian sojourn. Still a little jet lagged, but not hungover... because we never stopped drinking. Despite that, no one performs Colonel Tigh in this episode. ... LITMUS. Chester was right last week, folks of the fleet now know that Cylons can resemble human beings... and they're not taking it too well. Stay tuned.
Also, Happy Birthdays to my brother Sam, my cousin Cathy, and my Captain, Nathan Fillion.
