Gina Lattuca and Bethany Kloc of the SPCA serving Erie County join Joe Beamer and talk all things Christmas movies

In the second hour of thew program today, the WBEN team continues recounting their stories from that fateful time as we draw closer to the one year anniversary of the storm, including James Stelianou, Max Faery, Pasquale Maggiore, and Tom Puckett.

One year ago today, the worst blizzard to hit Buffalo since 1977 was fast approaching, and now as we near the one year anniversary of the storm, those that were here at WBEN through it all recount what that time was like, including Joe Beamer, James Stelianou, Pasquale Maggiore, and Max Faery.

Gina Lattuca of the SPCA serving Erie County joins the show to give a sneak preview of  the topic we will open tomorrow's program with: Hallmark Christmas movies.

Beamer takes your calls on what have you noticed you are paying more for, but receiving less of, whether its smaller portions at restaurants or reductions in services, what things are you paying more for, but receiving less of?

Beamer continues the topic of what the state of New York can do to liven up the drive for tourists and if New York were to open up a few more welcome centers, what should they put in them?

In the opening segment of today's program, Beamer, after a brief aside about a piece in The Buffalo News about Mark Pooncarz, wants to know what we can do to make New York State more welcoming for drivers, as the drive along the 90 these days is rather gloomy in his opinion, what can be done to liven up New York for tourists?

Beamer continues with the topic of what the most valuable prize you've ever won is, and also, while the holidays aren't prime time for complaining, are there any complaints you have about this time of year?

Beamer starts out the segment talking about how the price of stamps is 66 cents which leads to two topics: have you been priced out of sending Christmas cards and is the Post Office still essential? And in the second half of the segment, Beamer wants to know what is the most valuable prize you've won in your life? Whether it was the lottery, sports gambling, a raffle, what is the most valuable prize you've ever won?

Beamer continues taking your calls, from both sides of the aisle, on minimum wage, where do you stand on it?
