Bauhaus 4.0 is a collaborative research project between the weißsensee kunsthochschule berlin (departments of product-design, textile-and surface-design, artistic-design foundations) and the Technische Universität Berlin (department of educational psychology).
In the project, we are exploring a hybrid learning environment in which students and teachers can openly share knowledge, document their work, and learn from and inspire each other as a way to address these issues. It consists of a lab on campus, where students are introduced to digital fabrication in the form of 6-axis industrial robots and an online platform where their experiments and projects are continuously documented.
