Nachdem sich die Hardware zwischenzeitlich verabschiedet hatte, meldet sich der Bavariacast zurück aus dem Untergrund – und wie. Mit dem Special Guest Stefan Seitz rede ich über den Grantler im Allgemeinen, seine besondere Rolle im Zuge der bayerischen Innovationskraft und einer geradezu demokratischen Grundhaltung die den Grantler ausmacht.

P.S. Mit Blick auf die anbrechende Trachtenfasching-Saison bin ich immer noch auf der Suche nach einer Expertin. Trachtenschneiderinnen, Trachtenverkäuferinnen oder schlicht jemand mit Traditions- und Modehintergrund sind ausgesprochen willkommen. (Sonst droht die entsprechende Folge in ein veritables Bitchfest zum Thema auszuarten und es wenig Stil täte dieser Show gut.)
Ein Lebenszeichen, oida! Viel zu spät, a weng arg im Dialekt und umso kürzer meldet sich der Bavariacast zurück.
Es geht sehr lose darum was denn nun so ang gedauert hat, wie Bayern Flirten, ums Fensterln, den Monaco, Gerhard Polt und was man mit dem Handy im Bierzelt besser nicht macht.
Damit der Bavariacast nicht mehr nur eine „wenn da Bella danach is“-Veranstaltung wird, freue ich mich ab sofort über freiwillige Gäste – nicht nur wie im Cast angesprochen zu bajuwarischen Kulturinstitutionen von Biermösl Blosn bis Monaco Franze – sondern auch linsbesondere zu den nächsten Themen, wie z.B. dem Grantler und den Gstanzln, der Hymne oder der Isar. Von Irgendwie und Sowieso bis Kir Royal ganz zu schweigen.

Huch, da verging jetzt versehentlich ein ganzer Monat bis Folge 4. My bad. Das war nicht der Plan. Dafür ist Episode 4 eine putzige Wundertüte. Trotz Anschaffung eines Mikros habe ich es nämlich geschafft, die Soundqualität nochmal runterzuschrauben. (Wenn jemand ein Handbuch Audacity für Dummies rumliegen hat…) Was auch mit meiner mangelnden Skype-Erfahrung zu tun hat. However: Inhaltlich ist das Gespräch mit dem geschätzten Alex Feuerherdt nicht zu verachten.
Der Podcast-Profi und Regel-Experte mit eigenem Wikipedia-Eintrag (!) erzählt von seiner speziellen Beziehung von Bayern, die sich schon durch diverse Generationen zieht. Außerdem zur Sprache kommen der Kölner Karneval, die Liebe des Bayern zum Fleisch und am Ende hat sich sogar Mats Hummels reingeschlichen.
Special Thanks gehen außerdem an meinen heimlichen Sound-Patron @hrbruns (dessen Blog ohnehin jeder Bayern-Interessierte lesen sollte), der mit bemerkenswerter Geduld geholfen hat, dass die schlimmsten Audio-Süden verblasen.

Liebste Hörer: Da die Audio-Qualität des Bavariacast langsam wirklich seine Grenzen erreicht, bitte ich hier an offizieller Stelle noch einmal um einen ultimativen Mikro-Tipp. Am liebsten mit Plug&Play für Linux (!) und im Zweifelsfall auch mobil einsetzbar – also kein Riesenteil. Bin für konkrete Vorschläge und Hinweise zu Modellen und Bezugsquellen unendlich dankbar.

Zur Causa iTunes:
Ich habe jahrelang viel Zeit damit verbracht sowohl meine Rechner als auch die meiner Umgebung (Familie, Freunde) auf Linux umzustellen. (Ja steinigt mich doch, ihr Apfel-Jünger) und stehe jetzt mit Systemen da, die tadellos alles tun – außer iTunes zu installieren. Nein, auch Wine und PlayonLinux haben bis hierher versagt. Die Registrierung beim allmächtigen Apple-Gotteshaus wird also warten müssen, bis ich Zugang zu einer Mainstream-Maschine habe.

Servus zur ersten Folge des Bavariacast, inklusive mieser Soundqualität, einer abartig nervösen Sprecherin und viel Luft nach oben. Aber ganz nebenbei hab ich tatsächlich ein paar Infos zur Bavaria, zum Podcast generell und am Ende zur Verwendung von bajuwarischen Klassikern des Beschimpfungs-Repertoires.
An Dingen wie einem Feed, auch bei iTunes, wird hinter den Kulissen gearbeitet – aber so eine ein-Frau-Operation hat nur ein begrenztes Zeit-Budget.
