B.U.D. (Brought Up Different) is a hip hop/R&B artist and songwriter from Pamplico, South Carolina now currently living in Richmond. His music can be described as therapeutic and relatable. Starting out in the church choir, music has always been a way for him to express himself. This expression has landed him in the studio presence of well-known names such as 112, J. Holiday, and the production team, “Dream Team.” Using his musical talents as an outlet, B.U.D found himself dabbling in both genres of R&B and rap. With a unique sound and a talent for writing, B.U.D honed his ability to really work a crowd while in college at South Carolina State University where he was the opening actfor several major visiting performers including Lil Wayne, Trina, Bobby Valentino, Yung Dro, Fantasia, and Lil Boosie.
