Friday May 22 was Islaview Day in Deer Lake and this year is the 10th Anniversary.This event is a celebration of the life of Isla Short. The Islaview Foundation is a foundation built out of LOVE, in memory of Isla . Money raised will help families who have children with life-threatening conditions. Bay Fm's Lenny Benoit spoke with Isla's mom Sarah Short on Friday morning.

The Eating Disorder Foundation of NL has opened up an office in Corner Brook, Olivia Brake is Summer Marketing Assistant and is working on awareness and fundraising campaigns. Olivia visited Bay Fm and Executive Director Paul Twomey

joined in by phone where they discussed upcoming plans for the foundation’s presence on the West Coast this summer.
