Julie was a Dharma teacher for the Buddhist Faith Fellowship in Connecticut for over five years and led a multitude of classes and workshops including Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional. Julie has led several mindfulness presentations for Travelers Insurance and has been a Toastmaster of 8 1/2 years. She speaks on helping people with chronic illness reclaim their life.
