    The United States has, for the sixth time since the start of the war in Gaza, vetoed a draft resolution at the UN Security Council demanding an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in the Palestinian territory.   • Trump ends UK trip with little progress on international issues
    Donald Trump and Sir Keir Starmer have spoken of the enduring friendship between Britain and America, on the final day of the US president’s state visit to the UK.
