Anthony Kendrick is joined by former Portsmouth goalkeeper 'The Legend' Alan Knight for a V2 big interview. The legendary status comes from an incredible 683 appearances for Pompey.

We discuss how he got into football, joining Portsmouth as an apprentice after training with Fulham and QPR. We move on to discuss his amazing length of time for the club, including the famous FA Cup Semi-Final against Liverpool, and seeing Portsmouth promoted up two divisions. We finish this section by discussing Alan's current work with the FA.

The interview concludes by us discussing Portsmouth's fortunes this season. They currently sit mid-table in League One following their promotion last season. We agree that the club should be focussing on consolidation. Michael Eisner's takeover is also discussed, with the former Disney boss investing money into the side.

Thanks for listening!

Anthony Kendrick and Nick Davie are back for the new-look monthly 72 Show. We are joined by Portsmouth legend Alan Knight, who played for the club across four decades.

Wolves top the Championship after their win against Norwich, with four wins out of five and are joined in the automatic promotion by Cardiff. Leeds and Middlesbrough were both expected to be in the automatic promotion candidates but both have struggled, with them sitting just outside the playoff places. Leeds in particular have shown poor form with five losses out of six. At the bottom of the league, we look at Sunderland who have sacked Simon Grayson, along with under-pressure managers Leonid Slutsky and Jaap Stam.
