On this episode of Bakers Bantering, we recap plenty of the family happenings from the past week, including Mimi’s Celebration of Life ceremony and Derek owning up to his own mistake he made with the CPAP machine. At the ceremony, Jenna introduced her (now fiancé!) Chris to the taxidermist behind the bobcat (2:25-6:00). The Chiefs AND Eagles (Derek’s current favorite football team) continue their losing ways, but we discovered some personal connections to Taylor Swift! Derek (and Ellis) suffer another loss after finding out that beloved Selena Gomez is no longer single (6:03-15:34). Derek share’s an embarrassing story about the CPAP machine, which may have led to the reason it wasn’t working last week (15:35-21:01). Valerie was up to the task of making Mimi’s spaghetti and she came through with flying colors, but not necessarily according to Baker Banter Dad. Valerie and Derek shared kind words about Mimi Warren, and Derek managed to slip in a wrestling reference (21:03-25:35). It looks like Jenna might’ve picked out a wedding venue, and she and Katy were quite overwhelmed at a wedding expo they attended. Our friend Jared from the WWE shares a touching message with Jenna. Ellis brought in a menorah and dreidels and we said the prayers over the *electric* candles (25:37-37:03). Producer Ellis joins us on camera for the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up! Derek breaks down the growing list of wrestlers earning points toward the AEW Intercontinental Classic (37:13-50:38). We go over NXT Deadline results, headlined by our boy Dominik Mysterio. Derek shares plenty of predictions that include Dom, the Royal Rumble, and…himself (50:41-1:20:24).
