Merry Christmas everyone, this week of Bakers Bantering is full of holiday cheer! The football conversation continues as the Chiefs get back in the win column with T-Swift in the house. Derek and [Philly] Jared’s Eagles suffer another loss after former Missouri Quarterback Drew Lock led a remarkable touchdown drive in the final minutes of Monday Night Football (1:36-8:46). Derek gives us another CPAP update, and Katy comes up with some incentives for him to keep his mask on throughout the night. Derek also confesses about something that leaves the whole family totally appalled (10:41-17:55). After a failed surprise attempt over the summer, Katy and Valerie were able to pull off the shocker for Jenna and Chris’ engagement party! There were a lot of moving parts and additional surprises involved, including some special out of town guests and Derek’s incredible speech (17:57-34:27). We got in the Christmas spirit by visiting our friends at Anheuser-Busch to see the Brewery Lights and opening up some presents from Jellysmack! (36:16-40:04). There’s a lot to cover in the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up that gets started with Derek revealing our biggest interview guest thus far! Things heat up in AEW as Derek shares some aggressive, yet festive, commentary (40:51-56:16). There’s exciting NXT action to cover with the return of Cora Jade, and Derek thinks he knows who attacked Trick Williams (56:18-1:01:20). Randy Orton has come back to SmackDown on a mission, and Derek makes some big predictions for him and Roman Reigns. It might just be the holiday spirit, but is Derek FINALLY supporting his old friend Dominik Mysterio again? Plus our thoughts on the Liv Morgan situation and much more (1:01:24-1:25:21).
