Consulting firm BCG predicts that 20% of its revenues in 2024 will come from helping companies integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their businesses, with this share projected to rise to 40% by 2026. BCG has seen a boost in revenues from AI and generative AI over the past year as companies move from experimenting with the technology to implementing it on a larger scale. The firm is partnering with tech giants and AI companies such as Microsoft and Google to integrate their technology into operations and is providing training to board directors and executive teams. BCG has invested in its AI business since 2015 and has equipped its employees with AI tools. While advising on climate change and sustainability projects remains its fastest-growing practice, the firm has observed a decrease in vocal support for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues among business leaders, although this does not reflect a lack of commitment to these matters.
