After a short break from podcasting, Anh returns to talk about what she's been up to regarding graphic design and productivity. Sarah joins Anh in a candid conversation about how the recent global pandemic has had an effect on their mental health. She also expands on her worries about going to college and her future, a relatable concern for most high schoolers.  

Kennedy, Anh's best friend of nearly 9 years, joins her in chatting candidly about being educated about civil & human rights issues, and they further discuss the power that comes with social media. Moreover, they expand on sustainable fashion and the inequalities that contribute to the struggle of promoting it. They talk about changing the narratives around youth and ways they can make an impact, as well as the hardships of choosing to be considerate or complacent in bringing up difficult, and often uncomfortable conversations, with their friends. 

In this episode, Anh invites one of her friends, Aldo, to be the first guest on Bckgrd Noise. They chat about how fitness is becoming a routine part of both of their lives and comment on how Animal Crossing has taken up most of Aldo's, as well as most other people's time. They continue to discuss social media's significant role in activism, and the Black Lives Matter movement. Moreover, how historical narratives have never really surrounded POC and the education system has helped ingrain prejudices and biases toward White people into students.
