BDE||big disney energy

Tyler and guest Halley Mayo (Arkansas based actor) and Grant Hockenbrough (@granthock LA based actor) finish our two part series highlighting this practically perfect film. We get Hela in full force, JEFF FREAKING GOLDBLUM, Tessa Thompson is hot AF and HULK is there with a great story arc to round everything out. Idris Elba is there to make us fall in love, Odin makes us cry, Loki is a star and Skurge + Korg are some of the best characters in the MCU--we said what we said. This film is a damn delight, start to freaking finish and Thor has a great butt, so there's also that. Magical Music by Erik Backus.

Tyler and guests Halley Mayo (Arkansas based actor) and Grant Hockenbrough (@granthock LA based actor) tackle one of arguably the best films in the MCU in a two part series. Hemsworth is NEXT LEVEL HOT (I mean duh), Cate Blanchett as Hela is UNREAL and Taika Waititi is so talented its insane. I mean like we knew Hemsworth was hot, but like it's not fair that he's this funny too okay. Magical Music by Eric Backus.

Tyler and Guest Karen Rodriguez (@xkarenrodriguez Chicago based actor and Steppenwolf Theatre ensemble member) delve into this stunningly gorgeous film. We laugh, we cry and laugh some more as we discuss the importance of art, following your passion and family. It's truly magical, and with some of the best animation, acting and scoring--Coco is absolutely a new Disney classic. Magical music by Eric Backus.

Tyler and guests Helen Joo Lee (@helenjoolee actor, comedian and former CM at Disneyland) and Sarah Price (Chicago based actor, writer and comedian) team up to create the most insane and inappropriate thing to ever hit BDE--hard to imagine but true.  We sat down with our adult beverages of choice, in honor of spooky season, to countdown our fav disney villains! We have categories, scoring systems and of course get more and more off topic as the villain themed cocktails continue. Think Drunk History but Disney...and a rankin system. Do I mispronounce a famous Shakespeare characters name at least 6 times with utmost passion and certainty that I am pronouncing it correctly? Yes, I do. Do we have hot takes on who is number one--the one true villain to rule them all? yes, of course duh.  Hilarity ensues and we finally, after 2 hours of drinking, crown who we deem to be the baddest of them all. Magical music by Eric Backus.

Tyler and Guest Adriana (@bibbidibobbidi_broke Disney Blogger and Digital Creator) creates amazing edits, the best and most creative looks and made me laugh nonstop! We chat all things Star Wars, our mutual love of Kylo Ren and how we both think Ariel is a mess. Magical music by Eric Backus.

Tyler and guest Behzad Dabu (@behsaddabu LA based actor, writer, producer and activist-How to Get Away with Murder, The Chi, Disney's The Lion Guard) recap the undeniably iconic 1990s classic SPACE JAM. Join us on this wild journey--my phone rings, I don't know anything about basketball and Behzad is an actual expert and teaches me all of the basketball sports things. The soundtrack is stellar, Lola Bunny is all of the goals and the fact that Michael Jordan and Bill Murray made a movie about basketball is honestly one of the greatest achievements in cinematic history. Magical Music by Eric Backus.

Kicking off spoooooky month on BDE---Tyler and guests Hannah brown (@hannahabrown LA based actor and pod host of Not Aspirational with Hannah Brown and You Know You Love Us with Hannah Brown and Tyler Meredith) and Clayton Joyner (@cajoyne Chicago based actor and casting assistant) take things to the spookiest of spooky levels with this iconic 1990's CLASSC FILM.  THIS CAST. THE WITCHY INSANITY. we. are. here. for. all. of. it YALL. We discuss where in fact these dead men are that the Sanderson sisters are collecting said 'dead man's toes from' ? like who is the man, who's toes are these y'all? We bond of our love for a sensible Craft aesthetic and how this movie is a journey  we enjoy best sans others but plus a PSL. We also unlock the secret to the film, which is that these witches are hot and only want to be hotter AKA the entire premise and cast of RHONY and honestly, we can relate. And not to be overlooked, this movie has some major BPE--big pilgrim energy and we love all of the autumnal joy it brings us. Magical music by Eric Backus.
