On May 20 every year, the world observes Autoimmune Arthritis Day, an event aimed at raising awareness about autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases that show up with arthritis as a major component.
Inflammation is part of the body’s response to injury and illness. In the short term, it helps the body heal. However, long-term inflammation can cause or worsen chronic health conditions. Natural approaches include dietary, lifestyle, and supplementation to reduce overall inflammation levels in the body and improve general health. Some people may also find that lowering inflammation eases symptoms of conditions such as arthritis.
On 20th May 21 we had a session with Rita Mustapha, Holistic Nutritionist (RHN, RNCP), Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) to reclaim our health through healthy nutrition, examining current lifestyle, and reinventing our attempts at meeting our health goals.
