I contend it's easier to start the race than to finish.
It's easier to get a first down than a touchdown.
It's easier to get to first base than score a run. 
And it's easier to get someone to start the Christian life than to finish it.
But just like in these sports examples, if you want to be a winner in the Christian life, finishing is what counts.
