Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Jesus tells the parable about seeds being spread across every type of surface including rock, dried out land, and fertile soil. Father Dave says that while a farmer would not waste his time trying to grow seeds in bad soil, God always makes the effort to raise up our faith, even when are distant from Him.
