Be careful what you wish for

Listen Later

Be careful what you wish for

If I found a bottle with a genie, suppose he questioned my

desires

If he said to me, “Master you can quench any thirst or quell

any fires”

Power to rule all, or share it with all so their lives are

enriched more

With your wishes come grave consequences, be careful what

you wish for

Major Nelson stumbles on Barbara Eden and I get the conscience

of my mother

Paused about me on a throne but I think I’d rather the guy

to share it with another

Money can be such a blessing usually it’s a curse, like the

lady or the tiger which door?

Got to watch how it’s spent so you don’t go broke, yeah be

careful what you wish for

But I ain’t stumbled across any bottles worth keeping,  money’s not the thing I value

Give me a life filled with love, let my days be spent with

you I’ll be a rich man thru and thru

You want magic? There’s more magic in your kiss than all the

magic in the halls of Gryffindor

I want you with or without any cash, I know what’s in store,

babe you’re everything I’d wish for
