Mike Karim is the CEO of Oxford Endovascular, an organisation dedicated to saving patients suffering from vascular disease. The Company is developing tiny, metallic mesh tube devices that have been invented by engineers and clinicians to treat patients suffering from brain aneurysms.   Mike was one of the teams I coached as part of the 2017 EIT Catapult Competition for EIT Health, the MedTech division. He went on to raise £2m.

Jonathan Risley is the CEO of ThinAir, a company on a mission to transform the way we source clean drinking water, providing their water-generating technology to rural communities, future cities and drought-stricken areas.  Jonathan and I met in 2018 through EIT Climate KIC UK at Imperial College. After our time together he entered 10 competitions and had success in each of them, as well as winning Enterprise Nation’s Student Start-up of the Year competition and reaching the finals of the XPrize water abundance competition.

Milan Samani is the CEO of TIL Ventures, who work with governments, multi-lateral development banks and 30 of the Fortune100 companies to build venture accelerators, develop market creation capabilities and drive intrapreneurial innovation. I met Milan Samani through a referral from a client. Over the past 5 years I have worked with Milan with teams from Barclays, Disney, Pearson and BMW.

Kate Hofman is the CEO of GrowUp Urban Farms, a company committed to feeding people in a way that is positive for communities and the environment, today and in the future. They’re focused on changing the way food is grown and distributed, and they’re reconnecting people with the story of food from farm to fork.  I met Kate 5 years ago through EIT Climate KIC UK at Imperial College, where she went on to raise €1.2 million.

Andrew Burford is the Head of Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London's Grantham Institute for Climate Change, operating at the nexus of innovation, economic growth, and clean technology adoption. He is passionate about tackling climate change whilst also contributing to the social and entrepreneurial culture of the future.  Andrew and I met 7 years ago through EIT. We've seen close to 90 startups go through Climate KIC UK's accelerator program, with the 50 or so graduates raising a combined €170 million.

Benjamin Dyer is the co-founder and CEO of Powered Now, an award-winning software company wholly devoted to helping field-based service companies run their businesses more efficiently.  Benjamin was one of the 14 teams I coached at the TNW (The Next Web) Conference in Amsterdam in 2013 and went on to raise 1.5 million euros. He then raised another 2.35M GBP, just 3 days after coming to work with me in Sitges (Barcelona).
