Music is a universal language, which can be enjoyed and appreciated by all. Through speech we are able to convey our feelings and thoughts. Children begin to learn to speak from an early age, but capturing their attention in the first place is the sound, the unique rhythm, and tone of speech – which is unique to each language and varies from person to person. Which bring us to my guest A committed and passionate music instructor whose speciality is nurturing and grooming children with musical talents varying from singing to playing musical instruments. He is been in this art of Training kids for.a decade now and his musical students have performed in different musical T.V shows like kids got talent, Gods children great Talents, Kids Say the darndest thing and Muson school competitions to mention but a few. He is the CEO of perfect Touch MUSIC consult and his students are doing greatly well in their various school performances and Engagements.
The dynamics of child sexual abuse differ from those of adult sexual abuse. In particular, children rarely disclose sexual abuse immediately after the event. Moreover, disclosure tends to be a process rather than a single episode and is often initiated following a physical complaint or a change in behaviour. The Cece Yara Foundation is a child-centred non-profit organisation established in 2016 to prevent child sexual abuse and to provide access to care, information, protection and emergency intervention for children who have experienced sexual abuse or who are at risk. The Foundation provides provides psycho-social, legal and medical support for children through a 24-hour free child telephone helpline (0800 800 8001) and its child-friendly Child Advocacy Centre based in Gbagada, Lagos, at a time when government research estimates the occurrence of childhood sexual violence in Nigeria to be as high as one in four girls and one in ten boys. The Foundation’s multi-disciplinary team of counsellors, social workers, child advocates, lawyers and forensic interviewers, collaborate with government agencies and partners involved in the investigation, intervention and prosecution in child sexual abuse cases, in order to provide a coordinated response to children, in line with best practice. The Centre has also established outreach educational programs on prevention awareness for children, and specialised programs to educate adults on how to protect children from sexual abuse. https://www.ceceyara.org/
