Welcome to Be More Dog, Live Today. I am your host as always, Leo Loughbrock, and next our co-host, Marnie Moo.
Tune in for a short, lively episode filled with playful insights, practical tips, and a friendly conversation about living more in the moment.
The Warrior’s Daily Reflection returns. Today’s reflection is about willingness — understanding that we do not have to arrive healed, certain, fearless or perfect before we begin. Whatever battle you are facing — addiction, mental health, grief, anxiety, loneliness, compulsive behaviour, trauma, anger, fear, or simply the struggle of being human — the door to change remains open. Sometimes we cannot wait until we feel better before we start living differently. Sometimes action must lead the way. Make the call. Ask for help. Take the walk. Tell the truth. Make the amends. Reach out to another human being. Recovery, growth and spiritual awakening are rarely built through one enormous moment. They are built through small courageous choices made one day at a time. Today we ask: Am I moving towards the person I want to become? You don't have to conquer tomorrow. Just take the next right step today. Every struggle. Every warrior finding their way home.
In the first episode of my NEURODIVERSE series, I take a deep dive into BPD — moving beyond diagnostic terminology to explore the human reality behind it.
We look at emotional dysregulation, fear of abandonment, relationships, anger, impulsivity, identity, emptiness, dissociation, stigma, treatment and recovery. Alongside the clinical understanding, I explore anonymous lived experiences from people with BPD and share extensively from my own life: where the textbook reflects my experience, where it doesn't, and what I've learned from living through it.
This is a long-form episode because I didn't want to reduce a complicated condition — or the people living with it — to a checklist of symptoms.
A clarification about NICE: During the episode I refer several times to NICE. NICE is the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, a public body that produces evidence-based guidance and recommendations for health and social care in England. At points during the recording I may incorrectly refer to NICE alongside, or as, a charity. That description is incorrect. The clinical guidance attributed to NICE in the episode is being discussed as guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
This episode is intended for education and discussion and includes personal lived experience. It is not medical advice and should not be used for self-diagnosis.
The diagnosis is information.
It isn't identity.
It isn't morality.
And it isn't destiny.
Daywalkers. Creatures of the Night. Warriors.
Welcome to NEURODIVERSE.
This episode explores the meeting point of astronomy, ancient civilizations, numerology, astrology, and modern spirituality—looking at Sirius, the Lion's Gate (8/8), and recent eclipses. Leo reflects on ritual, evidence versus belief, and how symbols and actions shape personal change, inviting listeners to balance skepticism with wonder.
When we hear the word grief, most of us think about death.
But what about the people who are still alive... and no longer part of our lives?
In this deeply personal episode, I explore the kind of grief that rarely gets spoken about—the loss of friendships, relationships, family, addiction, the person we used to be, and the difficult journey of learning to let go without stopping ourselves from loving.
Inspired by watching Anthony Joshua step back into the ring, this conversation isn't really about boxing. It's about the invisible battles we all fight, the memories that stay with us, and discovering that healing isn't about forgetting—it's about learning to carry love in a different way.
If you've ever found yourself missing someone who's still alive, questioning the past, or struggling to move forward while holding on to memories, this episode is for you.
Because sometimes...
The hardest fight is the one nobody else can see.
