here is great confusion in our fast-paced society today about being busy and productive. People tend to thin they are the same thing. The reality is that it is not. It does not matter how you try to spin it, busy does not equate to productivity. I have seen people remain busy all day and beyond, with little or no results. And even find some really efficient folks who seem to have too much time on their hands, accomplish amazing things in really short times. Why are we not able to free ourselves from this madness? Usually, but not always, it has to do with the culture of where you work. Bosses tend to think that keeping its employees busy is the solution to getting results. But this is not always true. When companies begin to value results and performance over how many hours their employees are putting in, then we might have a chance to make real progress.
