The well-being of creation doesn’t depend on endless work. God gave us a day of rest a day to stop and He blessed it.

When we stop we declared that God is in control. When we stop we acknowledge that God is the King of the universe and doesn’t need us to work. When we stop we declare that we don’t find identity in what we do. When we stop we declare that we are limited and need replenishing. When we stop we declare that we are free from the culture of the world. When we stop we declare that we live what we believe.
