Amy and Julie speak with Judith Leif, author of Making Friends with Death: A Buddhist Guide to Encountering Mortality. Judith has taught internationally on death and dying and on the application of mindfulness-awareness training. She wears two hats, that of a nurse-advocate working to raise awareness and create legislation on end-of-life issues, and that of a Buddhist practitioner training interested people in mindfulness and sensitivity around the simple fact of death as inseparable from life.
