Season 2 | Episode 5: Gabrielle and Ariana talk to Genet Soomans, a clinical pharmacist, about her schooling, career,  and the many opportunities a Pharm. D degree offers. 

Genet Soomans is a Clinical Pharmacist at a South Florida hospital.  Some of her roles and responsibilities include evaluating medication therapy and making appropriate recommendations to health practitioners. She also monitors patient progress and makes relevant recommendations to change. Genet is passionate about providing the safest and optimal care for her patients.

Genet earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Doctoral degree in Pharmacy at the University of Florida. She enjoys weightlifting, spending time with family, and traveling.
