This podcast episode is important to me. I want to hear and connect with those of you that have experienced racism and oppression within the United States in any form and expression. If you have resources that can help to educate me on how to be a better ally for the Black Lives Matter movement as well as anyother movement for oppressed groups within the United States, please feel free to send them my way or include them. I would do this by heading over to my Be the Light Academy YouTube channel and leaving a comment in the video titled the same as this podcast episode or by emailing me at [email protected]. I am an educator within the United States and I am very dedicated to making sure that my students are taught the truth of every matter within my classroom. You guys can help me to do this. I have privilege. I have not experienced oppression of any kind in my lifetime and most likely never will. This moment in time has me open to learning, listening, and being proactive as an ally. I walk forth in all aspects of my life looking to be educated with the truth of every circumstance. I am open to that now and part of that is listening to the experiences of those who have been impacted directly and deeply. Again, you can leave your experiences within the comments section of the accompanying YouTube video, or any of the related posts that I have shared on my Learn the Light Academy YouTube channel's community tab over the past few weeks. I thank all of you guys for tuning into my content. It may not seem like much, but I am so honored to have so many of you guys even give my podcast and YouTube channels the time of day. I will resume posting regular content soon. I think right now though it is more important to be a part of the moment; reflecting, participating, listening, and learning. We are evolving as humanity right now and it is crucial to be observing and living the now moment.
