Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder

I love that the Bible is written for CHILDREN. Well, at least some of it is.  God doesn't forget the children, and I suppose we might learn something from Him. Of great interest, the same things that 5 year olds struggle with are similar to the things adults deal with.

The big kicker today is that children CAN PLEASE THE LORD.  Today, you may see a waist high human who is interacting with the Lord almighty in a way that pleases HIM. It boggles the mind.  So, let's find those children, support their parents, honor the role, & elevate their AGENCY.  We can actually be admirers and even followers of children in this way today.

Submitters are the most beautiful people in the world. They adorn themselves with the voluntary relational attachment under a designated person and under God. Every human is called to it in some of their relationships. The summons is to show in relational practice what is true in Spiritual reality. It demonstrates a posture before God that is demonstrated with words, attitudes and behavior to a real person.

Listen 7 minutes as we place ourselves before God's charge to husbands and wives.  Marriage can be a beautiful thing if we heed these teachings. It will be worth it.

• let PEACE rule
• and let the Word of CHRIST dwell in you richly

What I am really hoping is that TODAY IS A DAY OF TROUBLE. That is, it is the difficult situations that require these upper level actions.  It is a call to "love when it is needed", to "Let peace rule when peace isn't ruling." So, today, I hope you have trouble...so you can love, let peace rule, and let Christ dwell richly.

Our IDENTITY begets our ACTIVITIES and BEHAVIOR.  If we are having a spot of bother regarding our actions, then the likely source is that we have FORGOTTEN WHO WE ARE. 

Don't forget! We are chosen, holy, beloved, Hidden in Him, & forgiven.
So act like it: be compassionate, humble, kind, meek, patient and loving.

If there is a sweeter passage of Scripture than today's text, you'll have to show it to me.  This is a dear picture that beautifully describes the relationship of a believer to God. "Your life is hidden in Christ.'

It means that we are kept safe, protected, covered and secreted in Him.  It means to be made invisible within His visibility. There are other synonyms for this reality such as "be found in Him". None are sweeter than be hidden in Christ.

Let's not fall into the shadows of weak-thinking, mis-worshiping, and valuing the wrong things.  This will result in the APPEARANCE of wisdom, but is of no real value.

So how do I really grow? Our job is to stick to the real Head, Christ; stick to His body, the church; stick to His communication the Word; and stick to the character He values.  This is how we head towards real wisdom and real substance.  Finally, after doing our job, GOD GIVES THE GROWTH.

We have a very long list of our sins that we are personally responsible for...UNLESS...

Unless He CANCELS it.
Unless He FORGIVES it.
Unless He OBLITERATES it.
Unless He NAILS it.
Unless He SETS IT ASIDE.

Walking with Jesus is dangerous.  It is a good thing that He has made some provisions. 
The first is that He's consistent.  The rules don't change mid-game.
The second is that He's SUFFICIENT.  No one will ever say, "Oh, I wish Jesus just had more horsepower; more ability." Nope. He is able to meet the real need that you have.
The third is He is NEAR. We are filled with Him.  He's at hand, within reach, dwelling within, we are family. 
Let's walk then filled with this fullness.
