When Peter hears that he’s gonna die, I think he’s encouraged at the news. With some bad parts, he also hears he's gonna be faithful, willing and old. He hears that his death will glorify God, as it does even to this day.
All of this together is an encouragement for Peter. Listen and watch 7 minutes. subscribe if you are not yet old.

Peter is GRIEVED that Jesus has to ask him the same question 3 times in a row. I don't think he's mad at Jesus. I think Peter is grieved at himself; that the 3x question was needed for his own benefit.
In the church, the best LEADERS are the best LOVERS of God. So, Peter had to get this right with the Lord. In Peter's case, it is the BROKEN who make the best witnesses for the Lord.

Join me and my dog Asa as he gives the lesson on LOVING BEING TENDED.
Having his eye-boogers tended to is something he cannot do for himself. It is the highlight of his day. Like him, we should LOVE BEING TENDED by those placed over us in the church.
For more Asa tomorrow; more tending: subscribe

This one is so worth 7 ¾ minutes of your time.
The Lord is in the restoration business.
If Peter is not beyond saving from this situation, none of us are. But, this could have been the last time we heard from Peter. It was not.
Like Peter, DON’T let your betrayal be the last time we hear from you. Good plug to subscribe for more tomorrow.

Maybe you have heard the phrase, "run to Jesus". Well, what if there is a body of water between Him and you? Peter answers that problem. He "THROWS HIMSELF into the SEA!"
It is a practical illustration of good theology. Remember, no matter what you are doing today, you are Bi-vocational. You'll be representing Jesus wherever you are. You will need every bit of Him, so throw yourself into the sea!

Just like you probably put yourself on the path toward breakfast, it is wise to put ourselves on the path of revelation before the Lord.
His DISCLOSURE is related to, and is perhap proportional to our EXPOSURE.
Because we as humans forget, if the revelation is not FRESH, there is no revelation. We MUST have fresh exposure to have fresh disclosure. Join me for 7 minutes of exposure. Comment if you get a disclosure.

Thomas, for sure, is MORE than a knucklehead. Jesus has every right to judge and punish him for his durable unbelief. So the big question is :
Does Jesus rightfully nail Thomas?
NO, Jesus took the nails FOR THOMAS.
Does Jesus rightfully nail Me?
NO, Jesus took the nails FOR ME.
