Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder

Noah built the ARK in his driveway everyday for about 100 years. Then, on ONE PARTICULAR DAY, God said to him, GET INTO THE BOAT. There is  a time for long obedience in a single direction.  There is also a day where a specific faith; a specific obedience is required. Get into the boat...NOW.  Today is the day to make your faith REAL.

Join me for 7 minutes as we watch NOAH do this after 100 years of preparation. Perhaps your day today is one of preparation, or perhaps it is a call to specific obedience.  bewithme.us Spotify, Instagram, Youtube

All of human history depends upon the ARK
Our "Meta" thoughts about the ARK  are only possible because of the real MEGA ark
Think about the ark, for without it, you wouldn’t be thinking now
It is the "most important object in history"*, for without it, there is no cross
This ARK is the first step to the cross
The work of the Cross was possible because of the work of the ARK
Without the history of the ARK you are not even in history! We best pay attention.

Join me for 7 minutes as we take some instructions on:

• How to build an ark
• Who to build an ark
• When to build an ark
• and WHY build an ark

The parallels for what we might need to build in our world are staggering.  Appreciate this massive example with me today!

Join me for 7 minutes as we ask NOAH some tough questions:

• Noah, were you PERFECT in character? (no)
• Noah, did you do everything everybody around you was doing? (no)
• Noah, did you PLEASE GOD? (yes)
• Noah, did you yourself need a rescue? (yes)
• Noah, what was it about you that was so special (righteousness that comes by faith)

If every intent of man's heart is "only ever evil", then the flood make perfect sense.  What doesn't make sense is, "WHY IS THERE A BOAT?" Why does God save any? Why is there a rescue?

You come from ADAM and EVE. So you’d know about your sin.

You come from NOAH. So you ‘d know about HIS RESCUE.

Yes, you come from a sinful people. But yes, you come from a RESCUED people. Get on the rescue boat today. bewithme.us apple podcast

Without understanding this single concept, the rest of the Bible will make no sense. It must be understood that, unfortunately, man is not good. Scripture lays it out plainly about the heart of man. His every intent is only ever evil. Yikes.

It is why there is death, strife, conflict, violence and misunderstanding.  It is the reason God begins a rescue operation that starts with NOAH, and a BOAT and ends with a CROSS and a COMING BACK.

Before we get to all that though, sit with me with EVERY INTENT ONLY EVER EVIL.

What can a group of beings from another world teach us about being successful in this world?  Join me for 7 minutes to explore a strange chapter in human history, when spiritual beings, probably fallen angels, intermixed with the daughters of mankind.

Surprisingly, though they are now gone, their lessons remain on our front burners.  I give you, The NEPHILIM.

The point is NOT that Methuselah lived 969 years, as impressive as this is.  He sets the world record for longevity. The main point is what follows the comma, "...and he died."

So just like the rest of us, Methuselah dies.  Then what? Well, similar to us, judgement. Life is short, so let's do it right. Life is short, receive the Savior.

The God of the Bible has gone to repeated lengths for us to know about a man named ENOCH. He lived 365 years and walked with God for 300 of them. Then, he was taken. He was no more as far as those on earth could see.  He did NOT pass through death, like the rest of humanity.

Join me for 7 minutes as we admire a well-walked life.

In the Bible, a genealogy should not be a DISTRACTION, they should be the POINT. It is here we see that we have a personal, attentive, interactive, and faithful God.

Today we will recount a very unique period of time. Everybody lived around 900 years so there were lots of overlapping generations.  There certainly was a growing evil upon the earth, yet, there was a faithful remnant culminating in NOAH.

If you feel like you are the only one out there trying to live a godly life, you are not the first! Perhaps you too will be listed in a genealogy of the faithful!
