Is it possible to measure our level of discipleship?  This episode continues the examination, that began in Episode 8,  of Luke 6:46-49, looking at the four-fold formula of what it means to follow Jesus.  Along with the formula is a test that exposes whether or not we are following the formula.  

This episode includes insight from Pastor Mike Stancil, a wonderful man of God, who has been in ministry for 50 years.  Following the interview is an excerpt from a message called, Jesus Has A Question, from Luke 6:46.  Is there a way we can diagnose our level of discipleship?  How can I tell if I am truly "locked on" as a follower of Jesus?  From the mouth of the Savior comes the four components that help us to understand what it truly means to follow Him as Lord.

We are, perhaps, no more like Jesus than when we are serving others.  What Would Jesus Do?  He would serve!  From Mark 10:45 come four principles that will help us to serve better.  In addition, we are challenged to be "top tier" servants.  It's time to take things to the next level.

What is prayer and what is the basis of answered prayer.  Learning from the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, particularly verse 13, we see that prayer is "asking" and the basis of answered prayer is rooted in the character of God.  

If it is faith that pleases God (Heb. 11:6), then what is the nature of that faith.  Is it just a little faith?  If this is the case, then why is "little faith" rebuked by Jesus so often?  When Jesus commends someone's faith, what does that faith look like?  Episode 5 takes us through the case study of a woman whose faith was commended as being great.  What four hurdles did her faith overcome to bring such a compliment from the lips of the Savior?

What is mustard seed faith?  Is it a faith that is the "size" of a mustard seed?  Then why is "little faith" rebuked again and again?  This episode briefly examines and identifies the type of faith that is pleasing to the God we serve.

From Apathy to Amazement to Admiration to Adoration--this is the path the disciples took early one morning when in an instant, the wind was still and the sea calm, the moment Jesus entered into their boat.  Tired of just going through the motions?  Obedience is good and right but we are to worship in spirit and in truth--not just outwardly but inwardly.  How do we get that passion restored?  How do we live for Him with our heads and our hearts?  Mark 6 and Matthew 14 give us a glimpse--the key is a fresh encounter with the divinity of Jesus Christ the Lord!  Listen in as we explore these two amazing passages and when we are done may we too move closer to Him . . .  to worship!

Sometimes Christians might move through dry patches when we just go through the motions without the heart being into the walk.  We call this apathy and it is often a miserable place to be.  Why does it occur? Did the disciples in the New Testament ever face apathy?  What was the cure? This episode looks at the condition of just going through the motions.  The next episode explores how the disciples moved from apathy to true adoration. This can be our journey also!

A look at John 20:1-10 reminds us that simply noticing something and simply understanding something is not the same as believing something.  In John 20 we find three different ways of seeing the resurrection.  There is the cursory look, the considering look and the converting look.  Watch as the text moves from the simple look, to the scrutinizing look to the saving look.
