If you have a life and career plan, you will have a greater impetus to achieve your goals.
Every person has dreams that keep him or her moving forward and contributing with his or her talent to improve the environment.
Life and career planning is the attitude, art, and discipline of knowing oneself, of detecting one's own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of the environment, in order to project one's own destiny, self-directing it towards the full functioning of the capabilities, motivations, and objectives of professional, personal and working life.
This planning faces an analysis and confrontation of the person's values and beliefs since they are inseparable from his performance.
Every planning process goes through three moments:
1. The initial comprehensive diagnosis: refers to identifying one's own needs, clarifying one's own values, and identifying strengths, competencies, and weaknesses in terms of knowledge, skills, and personal attitudes, as well as material, economic and social resources.
2. Self-motivation: implies the selection of objectives, the selection of goals, and the awareness of the affectivity involved in it.
3. The will of self-direction: it is to go toward long-term objectives starting from immediate or short-term goals that allow permanent self-evaluation and feedback.
In summary, it is necessary to reflect on four areas (spiritual, work, family, and health), in order to be able to answer a series of questions among which stand out: Why do I exist, What are my objectives, What do I want to achieve, Why do I achieve it?
Why do I want to achieve it? What would I like to contribute to make the world a better place? What would I like to contribute to make the world a better place?
What is my professional path? What business can I start? What do the most successful people and companies and organizations do daily?
Work has many purposes; among them the use and development of intellectual and professional capacity, therefore, a well-planned job is creative, while a repetitive one becomes tedious and unbearable. What makes a job have positive characteristics, is that it is developed in a creative environment in which one can contribute to avoiding inertia, which is the death of creativity.
The recommendation as far as possible is to look for a good environment and a good career plan, which equals a foreseeable future and professional growth.
