Today we finish Psalm 119 and discuss the benefits of delighting in God's Word and the fact that humans are broken - even the best of us - and are like wandering sheep.
Psalm 119 is basically a love poem - an ode, but not to a romantic interest, instead, the entire Psalm - longest in the Bible - is focused on the goodness of God's Word and the blessings that come to those who read it, savor it and seek to follow it.
Jesus says that we will bear great fruit if we abide in Him and will be able to do absolutely nothing if we don't...so what does it mean to abide in Jesus, and how can we abide?
Today we discuss one of the more controversial claims about Jesus - are there many paths to God, or only one? Did Jesus conclusively teach that He Himself was the only, single way to God the Father and Eternal life?
How are Christians supposed to love each other? In John 13, Jesus gives us a mind-blowing and utterly illogical example of how we are to love each other, and in doing so, the King of Kings takes on the likeness of a humble, foot-washing servant.
Today we look at Mary of Bethany - a spiritual giant in the Bible that is not as well known as she should be. Nobody in the Bible exemplified a Great Commandment lifestyle more than Mary, and we can learn much from her!
How many people does the Bible record that Jesus raised from the dead? I suspect the actual number might surprise you + how did Jesus cope when friends and those around Him faced death - what was His reaction?
When you hear the word "meditation" what do you think of? There is a vast amount of difference between eastern meditation and biblical meditation, and today we explore that difference, as well as the great spiritual benefit that is found in meditation on the Bible.
In Psalm 119, the Psalmist mentions how it was fair and good or God to cause him affliction. Does God cause affliction and trouble for His people - does God cause bad things to sometimes happen to us today?
How does Jesus define our relationship with Him - how should our relationship with Him be? Is He like our best friend, or does He give us an even better metaphor than that?
