Are you feeling empty? 
For many people this has been one of the toughest season of their entire life.

The world as we know has changed
Church as we we know it has changed
Jobs have changed

Its like our whole world is screaming for HELP! 

This week we look at a passage of scripture found in 2 Kings 4. We read about this widow who is desperate to save her family.

Her husband has died, she’s sold her stuff, and now the debt collectors want to take her sons as the final payment she owes…

SHE has noting left to give…or so she thought.

Have you ever been in a place where you feel like you have nothing left to give. Nothing left to offer. Your surrounded by emptiness and holding onto whatever you have left...

But maybe just maybe what we’re holding onto is not the source of peace like we want it to be… it’s actually causing us more anxiety—because the more you think about it the more you realize it’s not enough..

Maybe God wants to give you a surplus of what you’ve been asking for, and he’s just waiting for you to stop searching for it in other places..

What if you looked around your life…
If you searched your heart..if you could find just a little oil..

Change is not always easy, but it is necessary. Jesus came to this earth to bring change! And right now by the current state of our country it is time for things to change. All through out the new testament, especially the gospels we see Jesus’ stance for the oppressed, for the misfits, for those who were hurting. 

Jesus wasn’t just against racism, He hated racism.

God’s word is blunt

We are all created equal,

We all are forgiven by the blood of Jesus,

We are loved equal!

God doesn’t show favoritism. In fact listen to what he says in James 2:9

9 But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law.

Its time for believers to lead the way and be the change this world so desperately needs.

We hope this message encourages you today!

There is no place for racism in this world and in the church. Diversity is the most beautiful thing about the body of christ.

The reality is we were created for community! 
We were created for relationships and friendships.

The cure for loneliness is community!
Not just your online community, but real raw friendships 

WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER 

Don't let your stereotype of church be developed from bad encounter you’ve had…

Church is not a building. Church is the body! Church is all about community!

A real community is made up of all races, all backgrounds! They support one another, they lift one another up! 

God cares so much about relationships that he gave us Jesus…

Jesus came down to reinvent the wheel. He broke traditions, he went out of his way to meet with all people. He Loved everyone the same!

It's time to start loving one another and allow God to heal our land.

How many of us have attempted to accomplish something or attempted to get over something, but because we fail, or because our first attempt wasn’t successful we revert back to our old ways.

Like many of us you can have this long list of things you are trying to grow in and improve.

The key is instead of trying to accomplish everything at once and instead of trying to make massive improvements to your life all at once, take baby steps.

Success starts with baby steps.

No matter how many times we fall or fail God says we are his masterpiece! Keep going!

Ephesians 2:10
10For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

GROWTH IS NOT PRODUCED WITHOUT PERSISTENCE 

If we can stay focused and keep going no matter when we fail and no matter how many times we fall down, and then listen to the voices of encouragement. Specifically God’s voice of encouragement! We can continue moving into our destiny and accomplish much in life.

God created you with purpose!

Mathew 11:28-30
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Have you ever been weighed down?
have you been burdened by something?
Have you been anxious about something?

And yet with the tension that we feel on the inside..we feel like no one can know and we cover it up on the outside.

People are all about that mask fashion now, it’s normal. It’s a part of society.

How many have been hiding behind a mask long before this pandemic has ever happened? You don’t have to mask the pain anymore. You don’t have to mask the problem anymore.

His promise implies that his power is more than enough, his power is sufficient to lift even the heaviest of problems that weigh you down.

Instead of covering it up..Just come to Jesus
Jesus Says come to me and he will give you rest.

We hope this message encourages you. God sees what's behind your mask and he want to take it from you!
