If God is your creator and has given you work to do on earth, for your joy, and His glory, you can connect with Him to receive what He has for you through His Son, Jesus. He is our commissioner and it is a joy when we realize He loves us and cares for us enough to give us opportunity each day to serve Him. In this chapter, we will talk about what your personal mission is and how to carry that out currently.

In this chapter, we will take a good look at your strengths, your weaknesses and your skills. It will remind you that God made you with certain gifts as His own handiwork. All that you are as you steward these gifts, bring Him glory as you honor Him with your life. When your uniqueness is recognized and pursued life can be very fulfilling.

You’re very unique because your life is made up of different puzzle pieces, including people, pursuits, and passions. No two people are alike. Did you know that God has purposes for you to serve on earth that no one else can serve? If you think about it, this is pretty incredible. Put the puzzle pieces together to begin to see how God has formulated your life for your fulfillment and His glory.

If you are God’s child, and believe that He is your Creator, then you have a story that aligns very closely with His story. You are created to be a light in this world. The best way to shine for Him is by joining Him in His purposes on earth. In this chapter, let’s see how your smaller story aligns with His bigger story, and how encouraging it is as we can see our lives from this perspective.

Do you know God’s big story in the Bible and what it’s all about? From Genesis all the way to Revelation there’s a central theme that Jesus comes to take away the sin of the world. His main purpose on earth was to fulfill His Father’s purposes for Him. His bigger story is a story of redemption and offers hope to all who believe.

Do you believe that your life is a special treasure? God made you just as you are in many wonderful ways to fulfill what He has for you on earth. Consider a spirit of expectancy like going on a treasure hunt. Expect Him to do great things when you align with His word, and His will according to His purposes for you. This chapter will invite you on the treasure hunt with enticing motivation about what God says in His Word about you. Get excited, expectant, and prepared to go on the journey.
