Beanerd Loves Movies

I wanted to re-record this. Since it was our first episode discussing movies and about my fav Sci-Fi film, I wanted to do a retake. But that can never happen again with the original voices. So the only option now is to just reupload it.

Uploading an old episode to say goodbye to a friend. Out of the handful of episodes we recorded, this is my favorite. Rest in Peace, Robert Martin.

Today I am talking about the king of all action B-Movies! and IMO the king of Cyberpunk films. 1992's Nemesis. a straight to video movie packed with so much action you would think John Woo was behind it. a cast with so many familiar faces, scenes you know you have seen done in other films years after this masterpiece was born. a low budget film with style and spirit that it surpasses those others of high budget Hollywood films of its time.

Want more Cyberpunk and have never heard of this movie? Well you are in for a treat! You can find it right now on Amazon Prime Movies and Tubi! Go watch and grab your fav popcorn!

So Obsession has now hit digital outlets. so is it worth the $30 price tag? Or should you wait for it to hit Netflix or other streaming services? Of all the movies coming out this summer, this one got my attention. Is it a big home run for the horror genre? Let's find out!

What happened last year with Snow White seemed like it was a one time thing, right? No one would be that stupid to repeat it all over again so soon. But it happened...

This movie was just not accepted by many old school predator fans. They hated it right from the release of its first teaser. I saw Predator in the 80s, so what are my thoughts on it? Let's find out!

On this episode I mainly talk about how comparing something to something else can kill the fun for you or anyone else around. I give my opinions on The Running Man (2025) as well. Do I like it more than the first film with Arnold? Let's find out!

Today I talk about the new film Weapons, by director Zach Cregger (Barbarian 2022). Starring Julia Garner and Josh Brolin.

Is this the best horror of 2025 or even recent years? What are my thoughts? Let's find out!

I saw two trailers to upcoming horror films...and one disappointed me!

I had no clue what I was in for...and it was a wild ride!
