I sat down with former MLB pitcher Shane Greene for a wide-ranging conversation on his decade in the big leagues. Shane broke in with the Yankees in 2014, built a 30+ save season with the Tigers that earned him a 2019 All-Star nod, and made stops with the Braves, Dodgers, and Cubs before a brief return to the Bronx in 2022. We talk the ups and downs of a 15th-round draft path, life as a closer, the physical toll of two major surgeries, His stance on Aliens, and what it's really like grinding through winter ball and the Mexican League trying to hang on. Shane also gets candid about where his head's at now that he's stepped back from chasing a roster spot — what he called "not using the R word yet."
