Some things are hardwired into a hound and most things are taught and shaped by their handler.  On this episode of the Huntcast, we're joined by dog training junkie, Heath Hyatt.  Heath has a long experience training both K9 and hunting dogs.  We're talking to him about how the things he's learned from other working and sport dogs helps train and handle his bear dogs.  You might even learn how to get a handle on your house dog.

In this episode, we're talking to three of our good outfitters to see the differences in how they bait.  These outfitters all get mature bears and live within a few hours of each other.  There's a lot of collective experience in this episode!  If there is one thing we love, it's talking about baiting in mature bruins!

We've all seen good and bad taxidermy.  Preserving our memories in the field and paying respect to the bear after the hunt is important to bear hunters.  Hunter's and taxidermists both have important roles to play in preserving the memory from hide care to all the steps in the taxidermy processes.   Bears are a difficult animal to mount and we're talking about it in this episode of the Bear Hunting Magazine Huntcast!
