On this week's episode of the #EShow, we shift back south in the summer coaches' series with Jason Kilcoyne from the New Jersey Bears. A little off a month removed from a deep playoff run, Kilcoyne looks back on the journey his team took to Providence. After claiming the franchise's first playoff victory in game #1 of the First Round against the New Jersey 87's, Kilcoyne and the Bears went on to win their first playoff series, followed by division title over the Philadelphia Hockey Club, and then came out on top over H.C. Rhode Island at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Finals. While New Jersey ultimately fell short to the Seahawks Hockey Club in the last game of the Frozen Finals, it was still a memorable postseason run that the Bears will look to build off of this season, and for years to come. While the victories on the ice are something that New Jersey feels very proud of, it's the NCAA and ACHA placements that set them apart, advancing a double-digit total number of players once again in 2025-26.
